Karen relocated to Florida from upstate New York after graduating from the Cornell Law School in 1990. Her busy real estate practice was in Palm Beach and then Naples, after which she began her successful career as a Realtor.
Her commitment extends to organizations that strive to make Naples an even better place to live: Brooke's Legacy Animal Rescue, First Book, the Foundation for Developmentally Disabled, Friends of Foster Children, Literacy Volunteers of Collier County, the Naples Botanical Garden, & the Von Leibig Art Center, to name only a few of the groups Karen supports. Since 2009, she has published the "Heart to Heart" column in Life in Naples magazine, highlighting the efforts and needs of local charitable organizations.
Additionally, she has written the monthly "Slice of Life" column since 2003 in the Naples Journal newspaper and its sister publications in North Naples & Pelican Bay, focusing on people and, often times, poignant anecdotes and events unfolding in Naples.
