One would almost think that this is kind of what happened during the 2006-2007 market occurrence in which everything went and pulled a 180. The difference however is that this is not a sub prime market mess like last time. Covid has played a very large role in what is taking place. Florida is one of the most protected places to be right now as far as it comes to leniency and laxation regarding masks and lockdowns. Hopefully, this world will one day be able to get back to a somewhat normal. In the meantime, it seems like real estate seekers and movers have found out about Naples, Florida.
Several high end communities like Port Royal, Aqualane Shores, Olde Naples, and Park Shore are seeing significant rises in prices and reduced levels of inventory coming on the market. Pelican Bay condos are so high in demand that buyers are having their agents send out personal letters to sellers seeing if anyone is thinking about selling. Naples retirement communities are abundant to say the least and what makes it challenging to choose is that there are so many that provide nothing but the highest in class. At the end of it all, it comes down to the miles of beachfront real estate this special city has to offer. If it were not for all of this waterfront and coastline living, the prices would not be doing what they are. Naples also recently ranked as the #1 place to retire in America. There are very few cities on the world of this medium size in which people can feel super safe at night walking around. Naples is by far one of them. 5th Avenue is seeing a massive influx of high end townhomes and loft style condos going up. These sales are continuing to flourish with buyers even willing to put large deposits down for properties that are still 1-2 years out from construction completion.
