By far the most classic neighborhood in Southwest Florida with an absolutely beautiful history. Olde Naples or Old Naples (two ways to say it), is that remarkable community where you can see people out walking the streets in the evenings at sunset. Several historic buildings, businesses, and stores, and shopping opportunities make up this must see location. Referred to as the south side of town, this is an area where Naples first began. That fairly tale story started over a century ago. Third street in Old Naples offers over 100 fine little boutique shops and buying choices in fine clothiers, gifts, and home goods furnishings too. If there was one word to describe Olde Naples and it's surroundings, quaint would be it. What truly makes it feel like an old European village is it's landmark Naples Pier. The go to place for most visitors and strolling tourists alike. The pier is an old maritime entrance location in the city of Naples itself.
Exploring Naples by foot starts with walking the streets of Olde Naples. You can also cover them much faster on a relaxing bike ride over the weekend. Golf cart, scooter, and moped will do it too. The streets of Old Naples are lined by massive Mediterranean mansions and luxury gulf coast estates. There are many streets in Olde Naples that will come to an end with private parking for residents and visitors for a small fee. These streets have small turnarounds yet each is unique in the sense that a small path leads you to the most stunning oceanfront beach on the Gulf of Mexico. Single family home prices can have a large wing span in terms of price ranging from $2 million all the way to $30 million. At any given time, there will be just under 20 home estate listings offered in the MLS on the market. Condos are also available with approximately 30 listings on the market on average. Their prices start in the $500,000 price point all the way to $10 million.
Firth Avenue South and Third Street South in Old Naples are where the community really comes together. This is where all the luxury dining and shopping take precedence over anything else. Thriving luxury offices can also been seen here including each top level real estate brokerage in Naples. Olde Naples feels like a new city in Europe. The different languages and cultures represented here at the beach pier is truly remarkable. People from the world over come here to see the dolphins and fishing each evening. More than anything though, it is all about the Naples Pier sunsets. After an early dinner at Tommy Bahama you can take a casual meandering walk down to the beach and pier. The custom luxury real estate and homes in Olde Naples represent some of the most wealthiest ideas in architecture and new modern design out there. The developers and builders continue to push the envelope in an area where anything is possible. Pure class.
