The restaurant has been on the island for over many years. Doc Ford's is a casual, family friendly restaurant located on the island of Captiva. They offer an extensive menu of fresh seafood, meats and salads. The restaurant specializes in oysters, shrimp, clams, crab legs, lobster tails and other fresh fish dishes. Their menu includes appetizers like calamari rings and fried green tomatoes; salads such as Caesar salad or shrimp cocktail; entrees such as grilled shrimp skewers or grouper sandwiches; and desserts like Key lime pie or chocolate cake.
