To know what it's like to live in one Naples most underrated gated communities just ask the residents of Wilshire Lakes. Homes and large estates still priced at just under $1 million on large lots with water and fountain views are becoming much harder to find. A vast majority of gated communities in North Naples are coupled with some very large equity club and non equity fees that can be the turning point in a decision for a buyer with a certain budget. Wilshire Lakes in unique in the sense that you receive some fantastic amenities (2 clay courts, swimming pool, residents clubhouse, 24/7 live guarded gate) all for approximately $300 per month give or take. Wilshire Lakes is located in the 34109 area zip code and situated just to the left on the ocean side of I-75. Homes in Naples in general are climbing quickly in price so to be able to find an average custom 2,500 to 3,500 square foot luxury dream home like these is not easy to come by. Inside Wilshire lakes there are also two condo communities.

Fieldstone Village is located on the left hand side of the neighborhood as you wind past the guard gate. It is directly across from the main community pool and fitness center in Wilshire Lakes. Most of the condos here are 2 and 3 bedrooms with maintenance condo fees of around $500 per month. The typical 2 bedroom unit has an interior living area of approx. 1,310 square feet. These town-homes typically sell in between $200,000 and $300,000. The second condominium project is located in the back of the neighborhood. While Fieldstone Village was built in 1993, Whilshire Pines is newer by 6 years or so being built in 1999. Overlooking water and fountain views is what a great deal of the units and even homes in Whilshire Lake are popular for. Whilshire Pines also has a hot tub while Fieldstone Village does not. The 3 bedroom units are a bit larger with an approximate interior living area of 1,500 to 1,600 square feet. Prices have range from the $240,000's to over $300,000.

The large single family homes in Wilshire Lakes have seen several close for well over $1 million. Clear Lake Circle, Wilshire Lakes Blvd. and Rocky Bank Drive are just three great streets to consider. Inside of Wilshire Lakes there are also middle homes in which the prices are a bit less ranging from $500,000 to $750,000. These lots are a lot smaller however but still a great way to be able to enter such a favorited gated community. Most homes in Wilshire Lakes come with their own private pool and spa. Several cul-de-sc locations like Treadwater Ct. and Fabienne Ct. are fantastic places to consider too. They allow for the ownership of not only having a large pie style shaped lot, but also for panoramic water views into the distance. Lastly, there are finely crafted custom homes in Wilshire Lakes that are private with views of nothing but beautiful greenery. These include Midshore Drive, Lowbank Drive, and parts of Wilshire Lakes Boulevard. The only drawback to this community is that from some of the homes you will be able to hear noise from I-75. Other than that this is by far a top 10 gated community in Naples for under $1 million.
